E85 and some extra fueling via methanol

I should say however that this is an '83 that from my understanding has forged pistons and rods

Mark, I would be glad to meet her there but not eat . I am not too fond of Casa Bonita's food

Unfortunately the car is currently apart and getting some serious modifications.

HMM... list is too long to go back over. To make it short

Bigger bore, done
I beam rods, done
Head already ported but looking to do a 2.7
twincharge (blower and my T04Z or T76) have all parts
MAP Fuel control (may go megasquirt)
New clutch (it was for my 951, changed my mind)
Huge FMIC

lightened from about 2600 to 2200.

All kinds of other crazy crap when I get around to it. Just have to finish this paint on the 951 and I'm back on it full time.

this is what I am going for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WLj-gv5sUY

WOW.

I've been searching, and I can't really find a complete write up on your initial blower setup. It looks like you used PVC pipe for the intake/exhaust on the blower? They both go down behind the radiator....to where? And, how did you run the belt? did you add a 3rd space on the crank pully for the SC, or is it an extra long belt from the AC/ALT?

HMM.. I thought I took some pics after adding the IC. I'll have to look when I get home.

The PVC was just initial.

I then went to this

I built some pipes similliar to the turbo pipes and the IC is a 951 IC.

the belt is a longer 6 rib and I have a idler pulley to keep tension.

Yeah, I've never seen that pic before, but I like it!

So you've got the AC, alternator and blower on the same belt? Where's the idler?

(This is looking more and more like something I want to get myself into lol)

The problem with the Huntley setup was:

A) The Eaton supercharger was too big

B) An Eaton supercharger was used vs a Whipple

C) The inlet to the blower has some funky sharp bends in the plumbing

D) The cam timing might have been a problem with the Vario Cam

I've got the original CNC prototype plenum with the runners for sale if anybody is interested in doing their own whipple supercharger project.

My plenum, unlike the copy done by Huntley, is a much higher quality piece with a gasketless tongue-n-groove lid. It's also thicker since it to a degree, load bearing.

The intake runners, not shown, are 2.7L oval port runners that have been water laser cut to the appropriate angle. Flanges need to be fabricated for the cut side of the intake runners. These will fit the 968 or the 2.7L cylinder heads. Alternatively, you could cut the runners off of a 951 in a similar fashion.

Anyway, this would be a great platform to jump from if you wanted to do the supercharger kit "right".

$500 for the plenum & runners (it's a very nice expensive piece)

Is there anything like that with an m90 (or similar) SC....for a 2.5?
