Default Got my 2.7 big bore!

I got my 2.7 liter MID block back from Mr White

Wossner pistons, Calico coatings on the side and top, all the bearings are Calico coated, MLS headgasket, balanced the bottom end, and some cylinder head work to fix the last shops screw up (who doesnt clean a cylinder head out after machining, or center the O-Rings better?). Ive got an IJ windage tray coming too, and gobs of other parts.

Also theres pics of the -10 AN fuel rail extrusion, Deutsch Autosport firewall connectors, and misc other stuff.

Enterprise gave me a Dakota with a V8 for $30 ;-)

Very nice! I see lots of Redline assembly lube - good stuff!

What spring rates did you end up with on the Bilsteins?

Ok, keeping in mind that I know nothing about BUILDING an engine like this, what's the importance of the redline assembly lube?

Anything that is usually coated in oil must be coated in assembly lube prior to startup. This prevents any metal to metal contact.

50-60 UK pounds each

www.m-cal.com. www.p-r-s.com carries them as well about the same price.

I think 400 on the front, 300 on the rear. Id have to check. I got them used from someone who had tbars, so ill have to change the rear springs out to a more suitable rate for my tbar delete.

That should be a mighty quick spool on a 2.7. My stage 5 is seeing 19psi by around 3k rpms on 3019cc's. Driving it is the only thing better than building it.
