lol. I did the same. I flew to Lauderdale. Looked the car over with a VERY good 951 tech. Told them I'd give em 1500 less than the price. They laughed and started getting pissy because of all of the time I took. They tried that pull out a credit app bull****.
That's when I laughed. I pulled out all cash in large bills, in an envelope. I told the idiot that he had 90 seconds to get a yes on the deal or I was dust.

They stopped me as I was driving the rental car out. They took the cash.
best 6500.00 I've ever spent!

A slightly used or leftover Infinity G35. RWD or AWD in the X model.
Pretty nice ride, heavy though.

I hate heavy cars, so easy to lose traction and so hard to control...

I tried to follow all 7 pages.. I really did.. but I have some general questions

1) What do you need this car o do for you? Daily driver?
2) Do you desire a certain level of fuel economy
3) With the 12K from the 951 sale, do you expect to a) buy cash b) use as down payment? c) lease? d) finance?
4) How many doors do you need/want?
5) Manual or automatic?
6) New or used?

I heard desires for Turbo 4s and perhaps AWD.. what else? Safety ratings?

Modern cars ARE heavy. Mini Coopers are 2600-2700lbs! An average small sedan is 3,000lbs.. larger sedans 3200-4000lbs

That's the newer models of the S4 and RS4 (first model of the RS4 in 2006?? I'm not sure).

All I know is that the old quattro system in the 2001 S4 with the V6 twin turbo was more front biased. True, it was awd, but I don't think it was a 40/60 F/R split like it is now.

Older S4's have a 2:1 center diff that biases the front. The RS4's have a 4:1 center diff that biases the rear. You can get a 4:1 center diff from Stasis for most of the older Audi's, that's what I have in my '01 S4. It makes a huge difference.

Interestingly enough, Stasis also has a rear diff that basically uses the 944 turbo limited slip. It supposedly makes even more of a difference than the center diff, but it's $2k!

The new WRX now has 2.5 liter, is pretty light, has a nicer interior, has more conservative looks,
hatchback available, more comfortable ride for around $25K.

The insurance on the EVO or WRX would cost me around $400 a month, no way

I'll sell you my 760li for $69,000. Books out over $80,000. The girl friend is going to pick up her GL 550 so I don't need the car anymore. V12, 440 hp all stock except for the H&R Springs and 22' Asanti AF116 Wheels. Cool ride.
Oh, and Jay Leno saw my 951 and gave me props on it...While he was driving a dodge...I don't even know what it was but it looked like a ford fiesta but it was a turbo from the factory and looked brand new. Really ugly.

I would say the R32 is a great car all the way around, and they are a one year production making it a desirable car. One hell of a track car right out the box, and they are making supercharger/turbo kits for them.
