Question: Doesn't a turbo "technically" count as a "muffler"? Considering SRT4s don't have any mufflers from the factory, only a cat and resonator... seems strange that a stock car wouldn't be able to run at that track.

I was thinking about this and it is worded no "open" exhaust, a turbo might count. With the srt4 a cat and resonator certainly count to make it a non open exhaust, and a resonator is very similar toa muffller.

They are fairly lax on the rules at lebanon. So they are not going to say anything unless your car is just too loud. They are concerned about noise not technicalities.

Im sure tool will bring his straight pipe and muffler. takes a total of 45 seconds to swap them.

Tool, i would be more worried about getting kicked out because you break 11 seconds with no cage or harnesses than not having a muffler... homie

but then again it would be really funny if you only run like a 13.5 hahah

Getting close, unfortunatly there is a 50/50 chance of rain. You can never realy tell what is going to happen until last minute. But it is scattered thunder storms and the next day looks good so hopefluy by the evening it will be clear. Even if it rains in the morning I am going to show up anyway they tend to make a good effect to run and wait until the last minute to call it.

I just went for a ride in that car for the better part of Sat. morning. There is NO way ST's car will run anything slower than low 11's. 10's are a very realistic posibility based on the acceleration I experienced...even with a conservative start.

Looks like I just found this post in time! Obvoiusly I won't be travelling from England to attend but WOW what an event!! I don't like all this bitterness about peoples cars.. we are all here for our love of the same model and personally I respect anyone who has taken the time to improve upon the original article.

I would just like to say good luck to both of you, have fun, don't break anything to prove a point and I CANT WAIT to see the video's!!!

My dyno chart from May over Special Tools Dyno from today. Mine was 100oct sunoco 22psi tapering to around 20psi. No changes have been made since then.
