Windshield fluid tank removal? Now engine rebuild
While doing some cleanup work on the 951 I decided to ditch the washer fluid tank. I have the oil cooler and PS cooler out. The tank is loose (all bolts out) but I can't seem to get it out the top or bottom. Do the headlights have to be up or something? Such a simple thing is such a PIA but that's normal when you own one of these cars How's that for a oldtimer newbie question?

OK thanks..1 out the top, 1 out the bottom...do I hear a 'pull' the car off from around the tank? It seems to be catching on something right where it necks down in the middle. I think I'll try the 'apply brute force' method

Cool, I'm glad to see I'm not the only 'challenged' one here. I'm not even going to reinstall it but someone might want it. My catchcan is going in that spot and possibly a larger oil cooler. I don't think I have ever used the washer in over 3 years so I won't miss it at all.

One of these days it'll get easy...I hope...

Out the bottom about a week ago. Cut off some of the lower tabs as well. Total PITA like so many things. Attempted cutting it in half, but that thing is stout! Best part was throwing it in the trash.
