sounds like more going out the bottom...
here's a couple of pics from my catch can install and dual oil coolers. i still have to run the oil lines and install a new power steering cooler in front of the radiator. the catch can is an amw, i ran the lines down along the water pipe and up from under the air box on the drivers side.

Nice job on the coolers and ducting Are those Mocal units and if so which model? Is it just the pic or are the hoses on your catchcan smaller than the one coming off the OAS? That's very similar to what I have in mind also.

KuHL,
I wanted Mocal's coolers but they have been on back order from the UK for about a month and a half. I couldn't wait any longer so i substituted for the Setrab units. They are 13 row 235 Matrix with -12 lines, i sourced the set up from BAT and custom fabricated the ducting.
The catch can lines are 3/8" coming off the can. The lines coming off the AOS are 3/4" but that gets reduced to 3/8" were it connects to the metal pipe at the J-boot. I used two 3/4" to 3/8" reducers for connecting the can, one just after the check valve coming off the AOS and the other at the 90 deg. hose at the J-boot.
I have not had the car out with these mods, hopfully this weekend, but i plan to post some results once i do. Good luck with your work and keep us posted.

Out the bottom, it sucks.

I ditched mine when I did the manual rack conversion a few weeks ago.

The rack wasn't bad at all - well worth the effort too!

I took mine out yesterday after I saw this post. I took mine out from the top. I needed to remove the distributor cap, intercooler pipe from turbo to intercooler, and headlight motor. It was pretty easy, but just remember to raise the headlights, disconnect battery, then remove the motor. Put the motor back on before you reconnect the battery or you might have problems resetting it. Don't forget to unbolt/cut the bottom mounting tab. The top tab that attaches to the fender was tight, but if you yank hard enough it comes out. Once its pulled up, push the top of it towards the drivers side(reason for removing the cap and IC pipe). Then just pull the whole thing straight up.

curious, what is the purpose of that catch-can? it doesn't look like a crank breather catcher.
