My Project
well ive been waiting for my block to come back from the machine shop for a while now, and today it was ready. so we got straight into it, installing the sleeves we got from Chris White, to go with the JE pistons and Arrow Rods to take the bore out to 104mm. so the machining was absolutly perfect. should be in the car and running with in a week, i will keep this post updated with pics. i also just installed a set of Racers edge camber plates. i cant wait to get the car together and find the real potential of the vitesse stage 3 turbo.

the rods are about 1400US, as for the spec i bought them from Chris White. so you will need to speak to him about them. there are no mods to the combustion chamber of the head either. what do you suggest duke?
dont we all love shiny metal parts? the rods should be stock length for a 2.5.

i believe the crank scraper is from, Ishihara-Johnson Crank Scrapers. which i also purchased off Chris White, he seems to be a distributer for their products.

One suggestion is to take the available extra bore to unshroud the valves for better flow. But that will add a lot extra work, and I'm quite sure you won't be feeling the need for extra power with this engine
BTW of course we all love shiny metal parts

Sean, wow that's some nice stuff you got lined up there! I am so happy to hear that you guys are doing some big bore projects out there. So you went with the Arrow Rods? Kool. Are those the Steel or Ti ones? Either way, you have one of the best ones made out in the world for our cars. Please keep us posted, and remember to take a lot of pics as you build this car!
Cheers mate.
