Thumbs up My car is almost finished! **UPDATED: 14 FEB New pictures!!!**

Hey,

I just got these pictures today! They start the reassembly tomorrow. I can't wait until its all said and done!

How does the Silver Rose look? I know it's just a picture, but the paint job it had before I owned it didn't seem to look right.

It looks great! Just wait until they get to the other steps in the painting process. When they eventually get to the wet sand, and then finish steps, you'll be amazed at what it will look like. Keep us posted.

The grand total for everything is just a hair over $6,000. My dad went and looked at the body panels after they were completely finished and he said they looked incredible. Insurance covered about 3/4 of it due to the hail damage I sustained driving cross country. Out of my own pocket? $1,200. So far I'm very happy! And anyone in the DFW area, I highly recommend this shop. If anyones interested, PM me and I'll get you in contact with them. The son of the owner has 2 951's.

Also, they really work with you depending on what you want. You don't have to pay $6,000 like I did. I just wanted everything done right, so I don't have to come back anytime soon. They did a widebody conversion on a 993 Cabrio, that car looked AWESOME! They took me thru their shop and showed me some of their projects that were still going on. This Audi TT took a bad front hit, and they were rebuilding it. The work they do there is awesome! I don't think I'll go anywhere else for my body/paint work.

Congrats New paint is a wonderful thing. Sadly, I always just paint single panels not the whole car

Cant wait to see some out in the day light finished photos!

Unfortunately I won't see the car until April, but I'm going to have my dad take some nice shots of it when it's all said and done! And youre right, having nice new paint is a really wonderful thing! Almost brings a tear to my eye...

Shaved rear bumper? Haha, Those pics are of the car after the paint had cured and they rolled it out of the paint booth. I have a factory euro rear bumper thats going on it. And all the decals and stone guards are going on as well as the side strips. I'm going for a stock appearance. Thanks for the compliment!

It will look great D, just take some pics of it being put back together. This way you can always remember what the process was like. And you can start your own digital library too. Just be patient pal, April will roll around soon enough.

BEAUTIFUL!!! Looks like we're in the same boat as far as not being able to be there with the project. I love that color and the work looks amazing. Congrats, now keep your head down so you can enjoy it when you redeploy stateside.

Hell yeah! You keep your head down, too! We both have to make it back so we can enjoy our great looking cars! I can't wait to see more pictures of your car!
