Dan, the car is pretty much scrap, I emailed Nick and he said $ 500.00 is okay. They guy at the shop said that he is taking the car to the junk yard today, interior is black and could be salvageable, the engine has 94k miles but the car caught fire and the front area melted to the ground, the engine is dirty but could be okay, if you want it I’ll let you take it instead of me , I don’t have any more room for another 951, I have 2 that I am parting right now, I just couldn’t let them take it to the junk yard. Let me know.

Thats awesome!!! Nice come back for the victory.
BTW Lart my 90 S2 has power door locks and the button on the console will not lock or unlock them. Do you have a relay if that is the problem?

Stories like that make me cringe. Do I smell the sweet scent of antifreeze?

I don't have the relay sold the 2 87" fuse boxes, but I do have a set of motors laying around somewhere.

Luis: Great story pal, just great. But for God's sake man, don't just crank up the boost blindly like that. You are so lucky as others have said that something didn't happen. Xylene or no xylene, don't chance that again!

Even though I'm not into the street racing thing, I do enjoy hearing these stories to show how fast our cars are. Thanks for kicking some butt pal and bring home a 951 victory!

You are right, I am glad nothing happen to my engine,I wasn't able to pull from him like other cars in the past, it was more like even, but my point is that I didn't walked away with my face down, I just couldn't. If I pulled away from him it was slowly very slowly but we had to stop.

That's a great story! Big dice throw on your part - Kudos for the mechanical sense to pull that off.

Lart, kudos to you for your "45 years old nuts (much bigger and hanging much lower than his", not falling into pieces too during the race! You're the man!!

And hey, do you run xylene all the time now like ST does?

Of course if you have chips that adjust to whatever boost you run, you face a LOT less risk when you blindly turn up the boost.
