It had a Fabspeed 4" system with single rear muffler. Loud and proud!

Hi Ron,

I can't remember - its the Lindsey Racing Super 61 with #8 hotside (wet jacket). There was a T04? marking on the box but I can't remember if it was E or B.

Andrew

would be great to see the super 61 compared to a t04e 50 stage 3 hotside, as a reference point

Spool up on this car is pretty instant, you will only be caught out if trying to accelrate from a low road speed in a high gear. Anything above 3,000 rpm and the spool is instant and relentless power is unleashed whenver you need it!

Highly recommended.

Andrew - you get respect in my book for being truthful with the boost numbers.
There are some respected users of this site who post lower than true boost numbers with their dyno sheets - and then have the nerve to chastise the honest guys for running high boost.
Its dispicable - glad you are not one of them.

Hi,

We could run 1.5 bar quite easilly and I could scale the DME fuel map to keep pace with that level of boost (even with those injectors) - but I would rather leave some margin and have room for some durablity.

As it's a customer car, we don't want to push it too far. Now, when I put this kit on my road car (a standard Turbo S), then we can crank things up a bit!

Have a good evening!

Regards,
Andrew

Anyone tried the super 48? is this the 46 trim?
"The "Super 48" utilizes a 48# per minute compressor wheel packed in a TO4E. Your choice of wet (water jacketed) or dry (oil cooled) frames. This turbo is capable of 480 HP and flows 696 CFM @ 1 bar. It comparable in size to a K27 in size and power output."
