yes the car is a 3L 8V with lots of mods. Turbo, head, boost controler, Maf etc etc.
Engine has about 10000 km now. I buld everything by myself execpt the maschining work.
I am running only 0.85 bar boost.
The car went till 1.5 bar boost in the last weeks due to a cloged wastegate. It was spining the wheels in third gear.
No I fixed the problem and wanted to see how fast is it on low boost.
I stil run the original cat converter from 1985.
The car is a prototype teh first build in 1984. It was a test car at Weissch for electronics.
I use the AP 22 to messure the accelaration etc. This is what you see on teh top.
My car did not had a boost gauge. It came with the economy meter.
Boost, oil temp etc are monitored by extra gauges,
Wide band and narow band is also installed

Wow! Nice ride! Is your gearing stock also or did you have to install a higher 5th gear to attain that speed? I'm wondering what kind of top end you'd get with an n/a 5th gear in the turbo tranmission with the turbo final drive gear - not that I've considered this for say, a Callaway 944 or anything. . .

Looks good Konstantin. I'm curious what you think about your 968 T adjustable wing. Did it make much of a noticable difference in downforce? I've been wanting to get a wing for track use, and like the 968T adjustable wing, but am worried that it it not high enough to get clean air nor big enough to make a huge difference. I would be interested in your experience with it on a 951.

Thanks,

The gearing is not stock.
I need even a taller 5th or put the 6 speed I have with the gears from 968 Turbo. I need 6200 rpm at top speed. over 6200 rpm the power goes down so I lose top speed at 6800 I have about 50 HP less and 100 Nm less than at 6200 rpm.
I want 320-330 at 6200 rpm
I also have 18" wheels which also helps a little.

The wing is higher has a different shape and it is adjustable. It makes a difference. If it is not enough with an adapter you can place it even higher.
Porsche raced with it in ADAC GT cup and in le Mans so it is good enough I think
Youi must use it only with the front splitter

Thanks Konstantin - that's what I wanted to hear. I assume that yours is a genuine Porsche part and not a copy?

I think they call it a rev limiter!

313 km/u = 194,5 mph
