That is definitely one of the nicest looking 944s. I loved the blue you had before, but that orange is great. The Jager graphics are very well done too. I am not usually a fan of graphics but yours are very tasteful (although I pass on Jager myself...I prefer whiskey!).
Take some vids and get it to a dyno. Congrats!

"stop your 100-200 km/h times and you know the power you have "
I thought this was usually done in 3rd gear? or is that jsut the US version which is 60mph-100mph?

"This is a repost, but still something to consider since Markus is currently pushing 27psi and 98 RON
That's 30psi on 96 RON (91 US Octane)"
Proof, yet again, that high boost does not kill motors; BAD TIMING DOES

todd,
euro 98 is your 94
98 and 99 ron is usually just called super unleaded in europe. and 95 is standard unleaded.
You got to admit, thats a helluva lot of boost.

You got that right, its ignition what allow's me to run high boost. There is nothing that special in our fuel here. I have now trigger setup" what devides flywheel (360 degrees) to 12 individual sectors or you can also call it 12 trigger setup! That is what making the whole ignition timining really accurate. BTW the fuel management I have is now available in Plug and Play for Porsche 951. If someone is interested, let me know... the price for plug and play system is close to 2000 EUR! but installation takes around 1hour!
Markus
Markus951, what was your trap speed?

So you think the ability to run high boost with standard gas is more of a factor of the individual coils and other ignition parts in your set up?
I guess a more effecient combustion of the fuel, thus plenty of fuel to ward off knock.
But, it would still come down to an issue of high EGT's correct??
That is where I am at. Have my a/f pretty good, jsut had to wait to get my EGT installed and then gradually turn up the boost.
If no knock and safe EGT's, keep turning it to the limit, then dial it back slightly.
