once the lenses are in full production anyone can buy the lenses.
they will be available on our website.
we only needed 5 ppl to be part of pre production to lower the price for everyone else.

once we have made lenses for the 5 ppl who gave the down payments then we will add a 'buy it now' button on our website and anyone can buy a set.

"If you can make a 968 rip off rear light, I am all over it like white on rice. Have you seen pics of it?"

show me and explain what you mean.

Tina,

When you say that you would still see the lines that separate them, are you referring to a physical groove in the new single piece lense, or that the black separators in our original light housing would be visible? Personally I envisioned an all red, as it was done on the 968 (I'll try to find a picture for you), but that was just me being curious, not sure if you'd get enough interest, and obviously there are time frame issues, but I thought I'd throw it out on the table.

if we do them as one peice. then we could either do them in all clear or all red. no color combination.

also if we do a one peice we wont be able to do them for a few months as we are not able to do big lenses yet since the fire.

we are able to used lenses that have surface scratches but no deep scrathces or cracks. sometimes old lenses will crack just on the inside, if you cant feel the crack with your fingernail then they are good.

OK, here's a closeup of the 968 light - my assumption is that we would still see our black 'separators' through the lens, so it wouldn't be as uniformly red as this, but same general principal...

Well again its very hard for me to give estimates and such when i dont know how the lenses are made up. a picture of them appart would be very helpful.

Are the black strips part of the housing then?

it might still be possible to cut out the housing and glue it all together and then do a 1 peice mold. but again hard to say if its possible without seing it.

well we havent start to work on the side markers because we dont have the 5 down payments.

for the turn signal we have both molds completed and running some tests.
we should be able to ship in about 2 weeks.

They fit, 96-91 951's and not sure on the year of S2's but they will fit all S2's.

Turbo = 951, its the internal egine code for 944 Turbo aka 951.

i dont think i had mentioned it on here but we had yet another set back and everything was on hold for a while. we have been back in full production this week and started to make a few turn signal only to find out that one of the molds is not producing perfect lenses. so we are investigating to see if we can fix it or if we will have to make another mold.

i really hate making you guys wait, this is not how we do business. it will be just a bit more time, but they are coming soon.

Date...Jan, 25th. The year 2012.

Great news everyone the clear lenses are now ready to be shipped. I am sorry to say that 26 of the 27 members who already paid for the lenses have passed away due to age.
