Here's a pic of what the "blems" look like on my car.

As you can see, they look just fine, and a LOT better than the old cracked orange lenses they replaced. Now, I just need to get a set of side marker lenses!

It is commonly available from an existing major sponsor Paragon Products isnt it? Thats where I got my set from...
Pargon sold those swedish made lenses, like many other vendors.

Default soon to be reality... maybe

I just got out of my Pro/ENGINEER class with a guy who has a molding business on the side and is willing to make a run of these. I'm willing to pay for a full set of clear lenses (2 front markers, 2 side markers front, 2 side markers rear, 2 taillamps) for anyone who ships me a good set to make molds from and pays for shipping back to themselves.

Sound like a deal anyone? Let's finally get a good single source for these and see what they are going to cost.

I'd run that post by a mod if I were you bud. Personal projects are all well and good, but when you start talking about becoming a "source" then you have to pay-to-play and it looks like you don't even have membership status yet.

Someone should just email Skip at Paragon and speak with him about purchasing clear lenses. They are already a sponsor of Rennlist, and already sell this product.

Just a thought.

Get em made, post some pictures of your car and we can all go ga ga over them! Then you can rub it in our face how we all missed the chance

I am burnt out on the clear lense saga.

Like Tifo said, you want them bad enough.........you know the Rennlist song and dance and Paragon does not have a problem being the DJ so dance

I'd love for Skip or Jason to chime in, as I thought I heard that they were discontinuing carrying this item.

No problem. I don't want to make anyone angry. I will not make any for sale to anyone after these two sets are made. I won't tell anyone what the process is to make them themselves at home, I won't tell anyone how much a benchmark cost should be to make them themselves at home, I won't supply any technical data what-so-ever as to allow anyone, ever to gain from the knowledge I am going to attempt to for real, really make a set at my new found friends home-shop. This deal just keeps getting better and better.

As I don't want to remove mine, the deal stands for one person who wishes to send me a set to make molds from. I will make one set for myself and one set for that person only who supplies the original lenses in good condition. I'm sick of this whole saga as well and just want a set made for my car. As I've found someone who says I can stand there while they do it, I'd like not to miss this opportunity.

Today I have received the clear turn signals for my 951. I am really not that happy about the quality. I assumed we had to wait that long to get good quality lenses!?

Not so pretty, but you probably will not notice them too much in pictures once they are mounted

What are your specific observations about fit and finish?

Yeah, I'd be interested in hearing the problems as well. I had gotten some blemished ones from them, and figured that if those were the ones they *weren't* happy with, the finished product should have been awesome. The pictures you posted look like the fronts were fine but the molding in back was inconsistent? Have you mounted them yet? Mine looked pretty darned good when they were mounted.
