Your car looks as good as it is fast. Well done.
A question, how much weight reduction came from replacing the hood?
How much heat are you able to remove via the hood vents?

Thanks. Again Well done. E

I think the last time I posted in this was back in Jan. when I thought my car would be running soon. It did run, but I ran into a host of other problems. Now I'm hoping to be running again soon?

Here's a couple "recent" pics from this summer:

Finally got the paint on my tired old 951 done. Was a ratty version of beige, but now all is better. This last summer I went to Mid-Am's funfest and when I pulled in during a downpour I wondered where I could park close to the building but they kept waving me forward, to near the building. Got out and ran to cover to realize later that I had been directed to the front row of the car show. I was mortified to see people walking around my car, apperently struggling to figure out why it was in the show. As soon as it quit pouring I beat a hasty retreat and parked on the grass. Now all is better and I won't be ashamed of my 951 anymore-although I will know not to get parked in the show.

Corleone is that your w.g. dump tube coming out next to the muffler on the right side? That is a great looking car. What is done to it?

About 25 lbs.

There is a lot of heat coming out from the vents and it seems like a good idea to have them.

Yes, the wg has its own pipe.

A lot is done, full race engine (about 500 hp), racing suspension.

It's sold in Virginia and the guy drove it back to California I believe. Do you know where it is now?
