It took a some time, money and effort to bring her back from the inferno @ Blackhawk Farms. Of course we had to do some upgrades what we had.

In addition to the existing Racers edge and Moton bits. These are the new items.

Electronic power steering
Kokeln Sways
Kokeln rear torsion bar carrier replacement
Safecraft 10# fire system (to replace the foam system)
Lindsey semi-solid motor mounts
Lindsey steam vent
Lindsey 3 piece crossmember
Vitesse system
Chris White motor

Default Electric Power Steering

Yes it does. I went to the electric PS because the combination of the Chris White radiator/oil cooler and Lindsey semi solid mounts bring the engine lower, leaving very little space for the stock power steering pump setup.

It was also pretty easy to install. I converted to AN fittings using a custom welded banjo bolt. Having the Lindsey 3 piece crossover made it easy to get to the fittings.

I have a switch on the dash. At the one minute to go mark on the grid I just flip the switch.

Sounds interesting. Why do you switch it on and off? What are the details on the motor?
Good to see it all back and better than before!

It's a big draw on the alternator and battery, 70 amp fuse for that monster. I do it to play it safe, it's not necessary to do so. It also whines, which I don't want to hear while I am sitting on the grid.

Cool. Good stuff. I was wondering the same thing. These cars are like trucks when the PS goes. Must be fun piloting the car around the pits etc.

Makes sense. That's a lot of draw! What motor are you now running?
