Yeah, I ordered new exhaust gaskets for it. Hopefully they'll arrive this Friday so I can shut the exhaust leak up. Even with just closing the exhaust leak the car is so much more responsive now.

Thanks! They are OEM, 18x8 et 50 and 18x10 et 65. The car is an 88 so no adapters were needed.

The rears are also available ET65 18x9.5.. these are what I have on my car, the 10s end up making a 295 look more stretched than I care for, and wider than a 295 requires stock ride height, if your car is lowered or squats on boost you end up rubbing the tires inside the wheel well or on the fender...

I am significantly lowered, and required rolling the front and rear fenders, and clearancing the inner fender on the rear to fit 295s... pic shows the wheels the car came to me with (currently on my N/A), the first set of wheels I fitted to the car, and the wheels on it now.. it has also been lowered almost another inch since the last pic was taken...

Is yours an 86 offset?

I run 18x8/10 and lowered a fair amount and no rubbing in the rear ever and only some in the front with hard turns with 255 up front.

Also, I only run a 275 in the rear but it doesn't seem to look stretched. Although I could always run wider tread on it.

Yes, 295 up front would def need some fender work.

I got these in 8 and 10" on my 968 turbo at the moment - think I'll change to 9" in the front now...

John's car is an 87. I have 295 tires on a 10" rims in the rear. They rub a bit under heavy cornering with bad shocks and I have mostly stock body work on my car.
