I came across your post about the coolant sensor being the last thing you need before your turboswap. Was just wondering what turbo your going to. reason i ask is because i'm currently getting everything i need ready to swap to a k27/6. I'm not 100% sure on all the parts i need. I currently have :

    k27/6
    coolant sensor
55lb inj. and seals + resistors
LR air boot to 2.75" inlet
I also plan on replacing some rubber hoses while the intake is off.
    intake gaskets, some exhaust gaskets.

Is there anything big im forgetting about? Any info is much appreciated.

    thanks
    mike

Hey there, just read your thread regarding your tuning problems. I too just bought a used turbo with Vitesse equipment and am sorting it out. One thing that might help you, I too have the Zeitronix ZT-2. It would log 14.6-14.8 ALOT of the time way too constantly, especially when cold or idling. (even at 23 psi boost! omg yikes) I suspected the 4K mile sensor was fouled and failing. I pulled the sensor and sure enough, COATED with carbon. I replaced the Bosch wideband sensor (autostore VW part number, roughly 50 usd) and retested. The sensor had been reading incorrectly, and was defaulting to 14.7 +-.1! Once replaced after about 30 seconds of cold running the reading jumps from 14.7 to actual AFR, 12.0 or such. If you are using this signal to simulate narrowband it would think its in closed loop when actually failing? good luck!
