Besides Lindsey Racing, is there anyone else out there that makes an intake for our cars?

I'd choose the intake from Lindsey simply because it's the only one I've seen documented flow bench data from.

(JME not part of the comparision..)

I have tried calling around with the part # originally posted and cannot find any information on pricing and availability. Does anyone have the price and the number one would call to order this up? $2500 seemed very steep but $800 might be fair

it's not a genuine Porsche item, so that's why you are not able to find any information.Seems to me it is a Swedish made intake.

http://www.area951.nu/index.asp?http....asp?showID=67

Is this the same intake?
Costs 15900 SEK, divide by 7 and you get $2273

http://www.area951.nu is a swedish site

8 200 SEK is for the parts and then you weld and fix it yourself. 15 900 SEK is one ready to mount. My "engine builder man" who has his own dynamometer and experience of many of Swedens fastest cars has looked and checked it out and he said that is a very good intake for our cars

I have one and it works and sounds very well so far. I have just started to tune my new engine with the intake, Link 2 and wide band lambda. I can really feel the difference above 4500 rpm.

what needs to be welded and fixed? what parts are needed in addition to what they provide you with? what parts are included? what is the availability?

im asking you because i obviously only speak english and you seem to be familiar with the part, perhaps you could ask the manufacturer for me and translate?

You will have everything without trottle house and you have to use the flange from the stock intake. It includes plenumchamber in carbon fibre, pipes, big flange x 2 and gasket for them.

The rear wing is also really nice in real.

I have bought parts the other way, from US to Sweden and it seems that shipping costs isnt so huge and also will go fast, about 3-4 days.

so anything that doesnt come with the kit is already on the car including throttle body... no suprise trips to parts stores or expensive custom pieces
