Broadfoot claims they will be coming out with an intake priced at $2850
Ehall, maybe you could swing over there and check it out. If not the next time I am up there I will scope it out

I don't understand why there aren't more options. All you have to do is hack up an OE manifold so you have the bottom of the four runners with the injector bungs. Weld a Vel. stack to each runner, and build of plenum of any shape to encapsulate all four....

Here is my challenge in Black and White: If anyone can produce a carbon fiber intake manifold that has a definate benifit over stock (ie numbers), and can withstand track and or daily abuse on the street - I will fork over no more than USD $ 3,000. Produce it and if it meets the criteria, I'll buy it. Quality must be fitting to a part with such a cost.

I'm with Guns, prove the value, in performance, on a dyno and I'll find a way to buy one. I'll check into this if I get any time.

Default $$$$

Konstantine - How much? Either PM me or send email to gqclass951@yahoo.com if you don't wanna post the price. Also more pics would be great along with a list of improvements over stock. If its good stuff then we'll talk

For a manifold with no individual throttle bodies, too short of a #4 runner and questionable gain the one in the first picture isnt worth anywhere NEAR 3K dollars.

Why would anyone pay $3K for freaking manifold; that would have to be the most expensive $/HP ratio for the 951. What does GM use for the intakes on the LS-1 and new Z06, I' dont think it's a carbon fiber derivative and it seems to hold up well.

The intake in the first pic is probably the only one designed with the highest Tech software, build by experts and testetd in real life and shoe gain on Performance.
Everything is perfect in theorie and praxis.
No need for individuall Throttle bodies in this car. It is a 2V Turbo.

How much does the stock intake weigh? What benefit is a cF intake if it's not substantially lighter. If two were exactly the same shape, but one was CF, what issues would make the CF version a better product? Discuss.

ST,
You've been cycling avatars pretty quickly here lately. No biggie except it confuses me. I think "Who's this F'n Noob". Then I see your name and understand......
