Default WTB: Weltmeister front sway bar bushings.

Hoping someone here might have a pair sitting around.

I’m no longer able to source them and running into installation issues with aftermarket ones.

Have you tried contacting Weltmeister directly? I went through this process a number of years ago (circa 2008) and I think I had to speak to someone there to figure out how to source new bushings.

I would call Jason at Paragon. There is a lot of good information in this thread although it's pretty old... Read to the end, looks like the company was sold in 2018,

I reached out to Pelicans Parts and Paragon Products and was unable to purchase the bushings.

The drop-link connecting to the Rod-end is threaded. This may provide me enough adjustability to run the shorter aftermarket bushings I’m trying to use.

If you have a Friend with a Lathe, or even just goto a shop that has one.. Just buy some Delrin or nylon Stock from McMaster or Grainger and make your own.. Super Ez and Super simple... All my cars have Delrin Bushings in them that I made..

that is a great idea. May have to go that route. I was able to get my aftermarket bushing to stay without breaking the bracket but now my alignment is off. Leaning to the right now.

i only messed with the swag bar so I believe there is too much tension on the sway bar causing the issue. I know sway bars are not suppose to change alignment so I have pretty serious issue going on.

Hopefully releasing some pressure on the end links will correct this.

edit: I believe the correct terminology is “toe in/out” that’s the issue I’m dealing with.

Alignment should be done first... WITH SWAYBAR DISCONNECTED! Then re-connect your swaybar with the car on the ground.. You can put blocks under the wheels to make it easier but the car must be on all four wheels at ride height on a fairly level surface. Then hook the bar up so there is no tension on it.... This is the PITA with Adjustable links.. With factory type links this isn't an issue because they are for the most part non adjustable..
