Regarding the passenger quarter window, is that extra support? Never seen that before. And how does the window mount and look like?

I would say he's referring to the floor in back playing the eyes a trick...
Look from the drivers side through the car and the "support" is gone.. abracadabra!

Beautiful pictures and good luck on the project! Would you mind taking a picture of the front corner of the rear hatch floor, right near the fuel fill "funnel"? I want to see if there is enough room there in that corner for a weld-in plate for a roll bar. Thanks!

Perfect! So there is enough room to weld plates to the front corners of the hatch floor. Are those spots reinforced by the factory, supported by the frame rails and/or close to the rear suspension pickup points?

Progress:

New rear hatch seal (quite a bit too long)

Bumper

Ambient shot

More holes than two for the license plate is a waste!

Transmission oil cooler

I will be adding a screen-grid guard.

Fuel tank.

And the fuel tank removed because the brand new wiring loom has to go in first.

Have you made any modifications to the body or is it in stock configuration....minus the oil cooler addition?

Did you have a new wiring harness made or did you find new old stock? Beautiful start to the project, the high quality work is inspiring.

I went to a harness rebuilder with my old wiring harness and asked him how much it would cost to have it rebuild. His diagnose of my old harness was not to bad. It was ok, but was showing signs of aging (wires getting hard). A rebuild would have cost me € 2000,--. He would have been reusing the most connectiors. When I will old him I could buy a new old stock harness for € 1200,- from Porsche he advised me to buy it right away. It might have been the last one available, but I don't know.

This probably is the only point at which you would be replacing the main harness. So I bought the harness from Porsche.
