Izzy, its nice to know your not alone. Thanks for the cam cover info. Is the silver you used on yours a particular color of silver or just local hardware spray can.

You are welcome Richard. The silver is powder coated (not from a spray can). Sorry, I don't know the specific name of the silver paint.

gave mine a much overdue bath - going to be in the 50s for the next week, perhaps even a chance to put the top down on Weds, but not quite time to pull the snow tires off

No fair!! Still below freezing and tons of snow around here.
Will probably be optimistic and finish waxing her in the garage. Possibly an oil change in anticipation of driving her.

LOL - woke up to 30 degrees & snowing! Got about 1" by noon, but then it warmed up and all is melted. Should be 60 Weds, & 70 Thurs, so top will be back down soon

Took it out to take it for an alignment after the changes to the suspension it is lowered about 1" by my measurements but that is very approximate.
I am liking the stance Whatcha think?

I like the lowered look mhr.
In addition to the thread:
- Put in a different radiator as my old one had a leak
- Changed the transmission fluid - (I went from redline to swepco, because someone told me it was supposed to be better - then actually made it worse - so I switched back to redline and shifting 1st to 2nd is better again)
- Oil change
Still on my to do list:
- some day : new oil pan gasket
- possibly replace chain on tensioner (the pads were changed but not the chain) some have mentioned its key to also replace chain at around 100k, but some say the pads is more critical to replace at regular interval.
- Then return to the maintenance circle: brakes, belts, sparkplugs........it never ends
