Man, people are planning on playing take-apart-car while there? This should be interesting.

I've got to work Friday, so I'm planning on arriving Saturday morning in the bleau car. So far everything seems to be running fine, realizing I need to adjust the pedal cable to allow the kick down to work (it doesn't now). That and instruction on how to install the cover over the sunroof motor without breaking it are my projects. :-)

Engine is getting about 16mpg city driving, so I think all the vacuum hoses are happily in place. I'll pack a Mitey Vac and my dime bag of $200 worth of brake wire grommets as well.

I'm by BWI airport in MD so it will be a solid hour drive. I'll just pack the emergency tool bag, anyone want me to bring a few bottles of homebrew?

Question: If I wanted to bring a friend (who might get very bored) would there be an additional dinner I could pick up (veg if possible, I ordered veg and could swap if not).

I remember the old 914 rambles where we would get a bunch of cars to caravan out to where-ever. You could tell the ones with serious engine modifications, they had to stop for gas about twice as often as everyone else :-)

But a very fun time would be had. Looking forward to it.

In the unlikely event that everyone goes on a field trip this eve the parking lot/hotel are abandoned, appreciate a trail of bread crumbs here on where to catch up with folks.

Looking forward to Frenzy 21 tomorrow morning, and perhaps a contingent of 928s for Cars and coffee Sunday at Dulles Landing. It's under 15 min from Holiday inn to Arcola Dunkin Donuts.

^ It's a YES for Dulles Landing....depending on how late the 928 parking lot rituals and libations extend into the evening/morning. I'm feeling the Friday night parking lot effects right now as I prepare to drive to Sterling for Round 2!
