Default Edd China is leaving Wheeler Dealers - for all the right reasons.

He restored a 928 and went on and on about how well engineered and screwed together it is... first time I saw a 928 being taken apart...He was the reason to watch the show. All the good shows get ruined by profit interests over quality.

Amen...the whole point of me watching his show was to find out how things worked...that was the best part..he takes something apart in front of you and explains it....I especially loved it when he worked on exotics...inbound disc brake systems and all kinds of cool stuff...he definitely made the right decision...what he does is why I watched...I could care less how much they got for the cars..

Well, another great UK/BBC production to be fvcked up by the US tv industry. Edd and the actual fixing/restoring process in the workshop was THE ONLY reason I watched Wheeler Dealers. Now that it seems that is being sacrificed I guess I really don't have any reason to watch Velocity. All the other shows are just so much drivel and drama that I can't stomach. Hopefully Edd will pop back up doing bigger and better things.

Good for him! Over the last few years, the show took an odd turn to exotics and overpriced purchases, going away from the original formula. I'll still watch older episodes now and then but, for the most part, I just skip it. Now with Ed gone, there's even less reason to watch. I wish him luck.

He was the only reason I watched. I wish him the best, I won't be watching the show again.

GOOD FOR EDD!!!

I have seen EVERY episode and my wife STILL gets pissed when I watch their re-runs.

I am happy you posted his video and I support him 110%

PLEASE.....EDD develop a show doing what you did each season showing us "Shade Tree Mechanics" how to do something to make our vehicles better!

Edd China and Wheeler Dealers are the reason I own a 928. I really knew so little about the model, or how to work on a car, before I watch Edd take one apart. I'm a visual learner that soaked up everything he did, reducing my fear of taking on a project.

Edd, I wish you the best in the future. I will be watching your Youtube Channel.

Now it's going to be just like every other car show on TV. Spotless workshop, everything comes apart / goes together easy.....and lets walk over to the table and show off some new wax or gadget.....

Except for Chasing Classic Cars, his workshop still looks realistic and it's fun watching them take apart some really old machinery and get it going again.

Edd on "Wheeler Dealers", Roger on "Chasing Classic Cars", and Jeff and Megan on "Car Chasers". Looks like we are down to one...
Might have to go back to Star Trek re-runs...

Him leaving aside, that video's a classy and graceful way to get off the stage.

Damn and I watched two recorded episodes just last night (Elise and Esprit). Like all the other posters here my favourite part of the show was where Edd worked on the car and we got up close and personal with some of the parts. Without that what's left apart from the perfunctory and unconvincing buying and selling segments?
