Fool me once (I ordered some crap 10 or 13 years ago and it was **** -oil sandwich with half inch or less oil holes) - fool me twice - I should have known better.

After all the years, all the horror stories about his products and his engines, I don't understand what you people expect to get from him....

You might try this....although the headers may crack, with such a poor fitment.

Loosen up the headers on the heads....really loose (back all the nuts off 1/8" or more.)

See if you can attach the "Y" pipe to the headers, with the headers loose.

If so, start all the "Y" pipe bolts and snug them.

Then try tightening the headers. to the heads. The pipes may "bend" enough to allow everything to tighten down. They may also crack down the road, with this much stress.

Pray you never have to change the collector gaskets.

I'm not sure what issues some of you have with Carl, but for 3 years since getting my supercharged Spyder back from the engine work & Z06 6-speed conversion he did on it, it has been dead nuts reliable - runs perfectly, idle is rock steady, starts right away every time, mixture on AFM gauge is in the right range at all RPMs and conditions, boost is strong, etc

Has his K-Jet stage 2 kit, his stainless Y-pipe, and a Borla exhaust. Everything is lined up and hangs right.

But if I did have an issue with a part from a vendor, I'd probably contact them and try to figure out the issue and try to work it out before bashing them in a public forum, especially when there are lots of cars running around with his offerings that are working just fine, but maybe that's just me.

Nah. Because you aren't around much here and don't participate you may not be aware of the engineering issues. If it makes you feel better you can believe this is an anomaly.

Much of our community knows it's not.

I tried fitting this on Saturday. If there was no one watching vm or email from the previous Thursday when the order sat on someone's desk while they jetted out to "Indy" until this last Tuesday, I'm not going to try real hard to go through that until a week day.

I havent decided what I will do yet. If ss304 can be bent with heat I can twist that side axially to fit but then I really won't be able to return even with the fing rediculous "20% restocking fee".
