The source looks like injector 8 which is the one with which you were having trouble.

It should be repairable. I helped restore one that was FAR worse. You will need a left fender, hood, and a lot of stuff under the hood, but the motor internals should be fine.

 

Sorry about the car, but glad no one got hurt/injured. Take a deep breath and then review to see if the car can be saved.

What hood?? That fender certainly took a beating. At least there was a free shuttle waiting for you when you put out the fire...

Lousy news, for all of us. I don't scare easily, but I got myself a big Halon extinguisher after this happened to someone last year. Plenty more on Ebay....

 

Actually, with the fire out now and from the front...it might not be as bad as initially thought? The question is, do you just want to be rid of it now? I wouldn't blame you for that, for sure...but if not, I'll bet that could be repaired...
