Not a lot to say, getting it ready for Monterey. Now to figure out what to do with it
Part it out? I think trying to repair it is a non starter. I haven't had the courage to really look hard at it. Just bummed !

So sad after all you have been through- wish there was something meaningful one could say but...?
Let's just hope you can find a way to bounce back from this one as well as you did the last event.

We had just replaced all the injectors and everything felt Ok. I had just driven it a few miles and I stopped at a gas station to inspect everything and all was fine. Few blocks later and this.
But you are right about being snake bit with it. It just fought me all the way. When it was good it was great then when it was bad it was bad. I still have my trusty '80 which I almost sold and it always runs.
I don't think it was the injectors, I'm back to the bad loom theory as there had been a random electrical smell that kept popping up, but it I could not find anyone to agree with me or sniff it at the same time.I thought I was going nuts. Also the radio kept resetting itself randomly, ( go to a "standby" mode). I found that very odd. But now all the problems are solved
Lets see how the insurance company deals with it.
