Dealbreaking statements in for sale ads
I've been looking for a new car so reading a lot of for sale ads. I'm putting together a list of things sellers say that totally put me off.
E.g.
"nothing that wouldn't buff out with a good detailing."

"Patina" = left to rot, never touched.
"Very original" = see above.
"Comes with xxxx part" = even with xxxx part installed, it's still is a POS
"Could be real nice" = after spending triple asking price on repairs.

A general theme is that, if your car "could be" so much nicer, the smart person would spruce it up *before* trying to sell it. E.g. my wife is skeptical of my desire to put new floor mats in my S4 before getting it ready to sell, yet I believe that those alone can add $1,000 to a sale price due purely to perceptions.
