Rosewood metallic is one of the prettiest "brown" color.
It is right outside of Carlise PA, so maybe someone here will pick up this car on the way back home!
Such high mileage "usually" means well taken cared off.
RE: '81, Rosewood : Some serious maint. has been done, but not listed are rubber lines like P/S and fuel. There is a 3-speed in '81, but the Phil Tong site says all were 4.5 L., not 4.2 as listed. Looks like a great driver and price. Has anybody bought through PCA?

Reason: arrrrgh
Got a Craigslist alert for this 1979 outside Atlanta. Almost no info, and "pictures available on request," so it's probably a total turd. But maybe someone will want to check it out. https://atlanta.craigslist.org/eat/a...282380840.html
I got my '80 928 via the PCA Mart in January, and a 944 Turbo there a couple of years ago. But you don't really "buy through PCA." It's just a classified advertising deal. The advantage I've found is that it's a good place for finding cars that have been cared for since you can't advertise there if you're not a PCA member. Of course, that's not a guarantee, but it does help screen out some of the lowlife types.
Mileage looks true on this one, and although it does have needs, it looks really good for an original car. Initially I thought this was a steal, but not so sure anymore. It's at the point where it needs all the big-ticket items to be great (paint, dash, pod, carpet, seats) but none of that stuff is horribly bad as-is if you just wanted an original, early car as a weekend driver. I'd be torn on this one; leave as-is or start a preservation/restoration. Plus, that pasha color is the only one you can't get anymore, so you'd have to redo all the seats with a different color if you wanted to fix the one.
I think this may qualify for 928 for sale, some of you hardcore 928 guys already know about this:

Brendan: You might get a response if you post a link (cut and paste) or some details as to the M/Y of the car to the post or ad rather something that happened 200 posts ago. Best of all, If you are a member you can click on their handle and send PM directly to that poster.
^^^ Brendan, welcome. What SteveG said, and you can also use the Quote button at the bottom of any post and it will bring up a reply box with that post as part of your reply (which you can also edit) as I have done here (to what I believe is the Post 8776 you referred to):

Less than 90K miles (has metric speedo). Interior is in great shape.
Car is in Texas. Clean Idaho title.
I've owned her for 20 years. Will be sad to see her go. I'm the 2nd owner.
Will consider trade for a reliable full size 3/4 ton 4x4 truck.
I am not. That is an 86.5 not an 86, with a 5.0L not a 4.8L. The leather dash looks well done. Air filter installed correctly and jump post cover not missing (both signs of former owner taking decent care of the car) . Interesting finish on those phone dials.
