928s for Sale

You're right on both accounts Mark. I'll still be taking a loss on it though. I was having the passenger fender, hood and front bumper cover polished and wanted to get the pictures in the sunlight to get it listed. They have since been removed. The paint is original and not perfect though.
I lost over 12k to a "Porsche repair shop" in Austin, TX and almost two years with no 928 and fighting with them to no avail. Rather angry about that but thanks to Sean, all things have been remedied. I'll be listing it again tonight at a lower price. What do ya'll think would be a fair price for a quick sale?

This eBay listing says "leather seats" The only leather in this car is the small door pull handle and maybe the steering wheel. The seats, and rest of the interior, are vinyl.
It appears to be some new upholstery done, but all vinyl nonetheless.

Very true! Though it does look like my mom's living room from the same year. We are still not allowed to go in there. Lol. This thread is more fun than just selling cars and helpful for finding the truth in sales.

That's about how much I spent on the maintenance. Not even the price of the car. Lol.
Well, here it is back on ebay, hope it gets close to $30k. No reserve!

Bryan,
Your car looks nice to me (with the exception of the black wheels, my taste is silver). I am surprised that it is not getting bid on and headed down the road.
Have you considered BAT? Good luck with the sale and I'm hoping that the next owner enjoy's the car.

Burning Brakes
1988 S4 5sp Laguna Green
My only negative comment about the car is that the color does not look green. So, if you are looking for a "green" car, look further.
Otherwise, USD 69.000 does not seem exorbitant for the overall color combination and condition. Very elegant looking car!!!
You may want to slightly re-calibrate your valuo-meter, Mike. I am thinking 60's and even 70's is possible here.
As to the value, just trying to get a set of sport seats "like those" seems to be a USD 5.000 operation with a high likelihood of disappointment.

Sean Talked to the previous owner of this Lagoon Green 1988 when his daughter first posted it on Facebook Market Place. He was looking for 18k back then. Odometer was non functional for a bit on this one.
