I don't understand how seller can say "The seats look really nice no tears just showing normal wear. " A chunk out of the driver seat isn't normal in my book.
Had a chat with this owner yesterday. No affiliation, I’m looking for an OB Euro driver so I called. Poor guy can’t really get pics or records posted due to a stroke. Owner said it’s a good driver although he has driven it only short distances since his stroke three years ago. No rust. Interior is black, dash is good...seats are shot. Guy finally retires and is about to restore it and he has the stroke. Hope someone helps him out. Too much of a project for me.
Oh sure. For 5k it's not worth it, 2k tops is more like it but really the fixing things is the fun part. At this point my car is down to pretty minimal repairs, so not much to do.....
1989 Grand Prix White Automatic w/ LSD 74K Miles. $18K worth of receipts since 2013.

No rust. Runs good. Dash is good. Car looks good in the photos.
So what makes it too much of a project? Seats & carpet? Routine maintenance items?
'88 S4 auto, black over partial linen with 61K miles. Has anyone ever seen an S4 without a rear center console? Is there a factory rear center console delete option? Or more likely, is it just missing?

It’s too far for me to check out. I’m not looking to have seats redone, I hear they are quite tricky. Further, I’m sure it needs a good bit of attention mechanically to be a strong driver. I’m looking for a car that’s mostly sorted. The American and euro side lights are too busy for me.
