Not to get off topic but I had a very similar experience with them. I enjoy the site but somewhere along the way there was some disconnect. There customer service is lacking. I sold a car thru them with marginal results. A lack of phone number is also an annoyance. These guys love showing off their million dollar car collection but apparently can't afford a phone number.

Like I said, possibly hipsters.

I will review their process for when I sell the 89GT. The exposure is very large for the right car (still).

That makes sense. Thanks.

I already own a 1982 Platinum Metallic 928, but this one makes me want to add another one to the garage

Looks like it Nate, and those wheel weights on the outside. I noticed something else but it escapes me now.

I’m having a little trouble believing the mileage. Steering wheel cover poorly restitched (wouldn’t have thought that would be needed even if left in the sun), dash and paintwork (could be explained), shift boot, etc. Still looks like a very nice car though.

I am with you 100 percent. Nice car and appears to be well sorted. I am betting its had an odometer gear somewhere in its past life. It's just not doing it for me. I am not seeing the finishes that I would expect for this mileage

+928 X 2; also something wonky with black overspray on the front radiator and evaporator. Got no answer from seller so far on that question.

Right, this was the other thing I had noticed.

What about the rest of the underside photos below that the header refers to? And how does it look like that after only 14,000 miles?

+1.

That car can't only have 14k miles. No way.
Interior, engine bay, underside… Hum...

Nice car but with way more miles on it than what's on the odo.

I agree with comments on condition versus odometer reading.
Lots of scratches on ignition lock etc. It’s been a very hard 14k miles. That written, it’s not in bad shape cosmetically.
Somebody did however pay a sheetload for service to make it ready for sale. If the seller/invoice-payer got the car mostly for free then this will go well for them. I think it’s worth at least the bottom-line amount in that service record. That is, for someone that’s going to drive it. As a collector car? Nope.

Nobody would replace the original speakers if 14k miles. Looking closer at the repair invoices, why would you have to replace the full carpet set, AC sliders, and bunch other stuff with low mileage. It just doesn't make sense. I did however get a laugh that they charged the poor fellow almost a $1k for fixing the five WP bolts that they broke because they weren't careful. Outside of that, the rest of the pricing seems on par to bring something with maybe 60-90k miles up to speed...
