928s for Sale

Technology is moving very fast. Software makes these cars seem very connected. First, we had actual connection and feel, then technology separated us from that feel (electric steering, brakes, air suspensions, DBW) but now that the code has gotten better, we are now able to feel connected but still have the tech. This will make our analog cars very unique but also a proposition we will think twice about for daily use depending on our perception and requirements.

This is the one that I drove down from Canada a couple of years ago. I sold it over a year ago to help pay for one of my kids college.
I understand that the owner after me did some important maintenance like new timing belt etc, motor mounts and some of the fuel lines.
The only paint flaw that it had was a scratch near the passenger side headlight. I posted pics way back when I was driving it back and I owned it.

I remember one similar to that one a dealer had, listed for around the same price. Kept talking up that it was 4wd and insisted that is what the S4 stood for. Had an upgraded ECU so it had way more power. After a couple of days of emails from people he pulled the listing.
Love the color combination on that one though.

I think Luis wants to buy a 928
What type/price range are you looking at. I am looking to switch out some of my 928s, so take a look at my signature and let me know if any interests you.
Plenty of good people here on 928 forum that will not steer you wrong.

Hi guys, thanks for the welcome. I've been sniffing around 928s for a while. Got 'imprinted' by it when my uncle purchased one back in '79... I still get a little spine tingle when I see one in the flesh.
I just wasn't sure where it might fit in my stable in terms of driving experience. I've decided that I'd like to use it as my summer/fair weather daily driver. Thus, I'm looking for an automatic, well-maintained car. I am very comfortable doing any and all mechanical work, and I do for several classics, but I don't want this car to be having needs from the get go.
Have gravitated to the S4 as a sweet spot of the refreshed, more modern design and the availability of the auto. Really, really would a like a car that's been loved and maintained by an ardent enthusiast, with known history and records. I would absolutely appreciate and drink up all the TLC bestowed on one of these gems. That's how I am with my classics and I know what that is worth. Color-wise, looking for almost anything but red, black or silver.
I openly welcome your comments and thoughts about my selection... Luis
