I would be amazed if this car sell for less than $15-20k. However it is not listed in a Porsche friendly auction. It should be on BaT.

That petrol blue is gorgeous. I love that color. Agreed on the tinted windows must go, and wonder why it has the 15" phone dials.

I heard from James Bailey that some people chose 15" dials as an option for their 5 spd as "comfort option". My '78 petrol blue/cork manual also came with 15" dials.

Asking $15-18k too much. Good luck with sale. Hope he gets it. Alex, yours is worth $100k if he gets $25k for this.

its back with a $10,000 price reduction, that's still about $10,000 too high

The seller is legit. Good guy, busy small business owner.

Latest on BaT. No Reserve '85 auto, silver over blue. Unfortunately the seller decided to put this one up for sale and not bother to detail it, especially the interior. A note to all of you planning to sell your 928 at some point; on behalf of the rest of us who want to see the values and prestige of these cars appreciate, please clean your car before you take pictures of it.

Nate, you beat me to it by 15 min! Look closely on the invoice.
$2500 for an '85 MAF from Porsche ($3600 with $1200 for core return)! Another reason you don't take your 928 to the Porsche dealer.
F*ing reap off!
I predict ~$5k for this car, max.

I think you are spot on although I’ve bought nicer cars for $5k. I’m hoping that MAF is made of 18k gold and could offset some of the detailing that still needs done.
