And it's out. It came out mostly without incident, had to fiddle with the leveler quite a bit but once I dialed it in it was easy going from there. I did end up putting the front wheels on ramps because the legs of the picker didn't clear the underside of the suspension with the tires on the ground.

Brendan, I haven't seen you since 2006 or 2007 when I used to live down the road from you. I only remember a black 928 Euro you brought over to my parents' house one day when I still had the black 944. What color was this 85? My Dad's old 85 he had when I was little had a burgundy interior in it too. If the exterior color was a Metallic Gray, and it had a 5 speed, I might just have a heart-attack.

No it wasn't. I am trying to track down my Dad's old car so I can restore it.

To get back on subject, now is the perfect time to clean that engine compartment now that the motor is out. Think washmits and toothbrushes.
