Default Probably parting out an 85

Well, I guess its going to happen this way. I am going to have to part out this 85 I have been driving as I was just rammed or rather "ransacked" pretty hard on the right front corner.

So that corner is bad, front bumper bad, headlight maybe okay. Doors okay, Hatch okay, Rear bumper okay, and all mechanicals good.

I resealed the top end of the motor recently, redid the intake, has a porkensioner I will try and keep. Newer alternator. Hmm. This car sounds better than it looks.

Front and rear seats were redone with red/burgundy vinyl - 8 way with lumbar.

5spd is in good shifting shape, but the detents are not there, so the internal spring is bad or gone. Clutch seems okay.

Maybe i'll see what Mark Anderson is buying cars for these days.....

Its still very drivable if I replace the tie rod. Maybe I should replace the fender and keep driving it. Its my E85 mule.

Keep driving it. You've had enough 928's in pieces. Keep this one on the road if you can.

Seems fixable with bolt on parts, no damage to the frame? No Insurance?

Place I bought my fuel tank from in San Jacinto still had fenders I think, Valley Auto Salvage, something like that. Tell them the guy that bought the 928 fuel tank, that turned out to have a patched crack, sent you and maybe they will cut you a deal. Plus there is always the sale at 928intl.

I always have insurance, but for cheaper cars like this I don't carry collision.

I might. A concern is how far back the tire is in the wheel well. Hard to see but the tire contacted the rear of the well. Meaning it moved back from where it normally resides. The body is no issue. I am thinking, yet again, a small accident twisted the front end.
