Default FS: 18" wheels and tires

Just in off the 89.
8x18 front with a 225 ( tires are excellent)
10x18 rear with a 295 ( tires are about gone)
$1200 for the set

Mark,

Kindly excuse me for enquiring but is that really a 255 on an 8 inch wheel or is it a typo [edit yes]?

I might expect a 235 and possibly a 245 depending on aspect ratio on 8 inch rims. Looks outside the size range seen on Tirerack spec sheets.

Nice wheels

225s fit nicely on a 8" rim. but , you can go as high as a 245 safely, just as the 10s can go from a 255 to a 305.

Do you need to use spacers with these?

I've never been a big fan of chrome wheels until I installed the chrome manhole covers on my 80. On a red car it's really nice and these would look awesome on your S4.

I dumped my chrome previously due to the maintenance of keeping them clean. Eventually I wanted to upgrade to 18" wheels, that is, once I get the car sorted out again with some replacement of your typical wear & tear parts.

This 996 design wheel is exactly what I am looking for, but in the traditional silver paint.

I have CLW wheels on my S4. The rear wheels are 18x10 ET 65. I have 275/35ZR-18 Continental ExtremeContact DW tires, and I installed 7mm spacers that I purchased from Vertex. YMMV
