Interesting how many tanks look so similar.

This one came from a mid to late 60's Triumph 500. Holds something like 2.1 gallons. It may be possible that it was also used on a Bonny and other English bikes of that vintage.

Hmm. If so someone did a lot of work on it in the past, getting rid of the welded seam between the two halves that Triumph hid with a piece of chrome trim across the top, so you didn't see it until it cracked and leaked gas on your crotch... A smart mod! The gas cap is offset because of that seam. Great shape though, like most Brit bike tanks.
