This happens to be a 5.0 Euro engine, heading to Mexico.

NICE!

Now....is that the engine that will be mated to that elusive factory 6 spd manual transmission rumored to be in Mexico

Herr Kuhn has been awaiting this engine where the 6 speed will optimize the application of the narrow, but high level HP curve!

Late 60s or Early 70s BSA. Not sure of the model.

Stunned that no one has asked Greg to build them a nice engine stand yet...

I have begged for one of the regular engine stands he uses in the shop. They're tanks- no sagging, and they take the factory bracket so the motor is nearly perfectly balance for rotating around its center of gravity.

God I remember that wonderful Carlos Hernandez/Mark Kibort April Fool's prank. Dumb **** me took it hook, line and sinker. Suggested to DR that some of us try to go in together and buy it. LOL.

I'm calling late 70's BSA or Triumph of similar vintage.
My 74 Kawi had a "flip up" cap so the screw caps were likely British.

Looks like a vintage Mustang motor bike gas tank, or copy of a Mustang tank. A Mustang was much cooler the owning a Cushman Eagle, back in my day. Lots of Mustang tanks on early Harley choppers, back when gas was cheap and plentiful.

Agreed. On closer examination, that's not going to hold much.... looks like a "Peanut" tank popular on 60's - 70's choppers.

Final answer...
