Coil
The dash is an opportunity to learn something new, so I am going to play with vinyl repair, though obviously not on Minerva's dash, for starters. (I do have a pint of color-matched cork Surflex coming from Joanne at Color-plus, if we need it for fogging/spot repairs). Though the variegation in cork makes it pretty much impossible to match, may have to find some trompe-l'oeil airbrush master to recolor it.
I am eyeing one of the repair kits from Vinyl-Pro, and I picked up a trash dash from one of Mark's desert finds for cheap, so I have something to practice on.
It's decal day today- Have been rolling the coil on the flatbed scanner to get a rectangle, then will clean them up in Photoshop, makes for interesting shapes:

No problemo, I have some of the sticker replicates in-hand, especially for 87+. I just want to make sure that what I'm printing is correct, as I have no idea what's correct for an 86.5.
Not sure what you already have and what's missing- let me know what you need, and I would love to have pics of what you do have, so I can mod or create new ones as needed
This is what PET says, so you know there's at least an error or three...
For 86:
Actually, anyone that has a '78 I would love some good hi-res images of the '78 radiator stickers, individually, the condenser fan warning sticker, and the tire pressure sticker on the fuel door. Minerva's are there but are almost completely wiped free of text.

Re the 8" H4 headlights - you know there are two types - with and without the top dimple (for want of a better word). My C16 UK car has no dimples, but all the Oz official imports have them. Not sure what went on there.
I bought a AC compressor and hoses off an 80-81 car and had them all overhauled/rebuilt to go on my 83, only to find there had been a change in hose size where one connected to hard line on the body. Had to get my own hose rebuilt to fit.
Keep up the good work.

Yes, there's a dimple/nipple/teat/whatever on the top of the later H4's, not sure when they were added.
It seems as though the LCAs got painted, but no biggie, will just bead blast them back to naked.
I got an itch to make something shiny tonight, so I took some Twinkle (copper polish) to the A/C hardlines. Turned out pretty well, I was surprised, though it was a lot of elbow grease (about an hour for the pair). Will be amusing to see how long it lasts. (Maybe I should high-temp clear them? Dunno...)
After doing the pressure hose, for comparison:
Both polished up:

Rob--
Go with the clear coat if you worked through o the steel, maybe do it anyway. Those lines don't get particularly hot, btw.
On the LCA's you mention that Mark's rebuilder worked on your original castings. Is that a regularly-available option? And how long did it take? Trying to keep everything as original as possible.

I'm not sure what layer I worked down to- I started with Tarn-X which didn't touch the corrosion/oxidation, and moved to Twinkle, which made quick work of it using only the foam pad. The lines are sturdy like steel but I have no idea what they're coated/plated with. They shine like brass (?) Will shoot them in clear to give a bit of protection.
I was amazed at the speed on the control arm rebuild. I think I dropped them off at Mark's on 11/17 or so, and they were shipped out that same day. So roughly a month, round trip.
It makes me wonder whether they could also rebuild the unobtanium front swaybar links with ball joints that don't exist in PET but are present on Minerva. I went through Mark's box of 78-86.0 links, but he didn't have any. Tom suggested maybe they could rebuild these (?) One is good, but one is toast, lots of play in the joint:
