Well, after all day fiddling around, I had some success. Rechecked all my vacuum lines , fix d a couple that didn’t seem right, and charged the battery. tried to fire her off again, and got same results I had almost a year ago.::: start, run for about 7 seconds, cut off.
hooked up my new noid light set, and found no fire to the injectors....posted my findings, and got a text from my buddy Scott smith ..: after a phone call and a discussion on how this is all supposed to work, I dug into the CE panel.
The result was was that I pulled the fuel injector relay, and noted that the part number on the relay did not match the part number listed on the resource from 928 specialists site.
Replaced with the proper relay and got this:

Thank you all! I have been up since 5 this morning, here it is almost midnight, and I’m still pumped up!
went ahead and changed oil, since I have her running so smooth. I need to do quite a bit of reassembling before I can road test , and see if I have fixed the initial problem of her cutting off under load.
i really want to drive her to SITM this year, but I have a really long list.
next up is to put all new connectors on the fuel injector wires, they are all broken. I have new ones with pig-tails to splice in. Will most likely solder and heat shrink. Also, the PO used standard fuel hose and worm clamps. I got a kit to replace all that. Then ALL this:
Got some oil leaks to fix. I think passenger front cam seal leaking pretty bad, but stops when engine heats up.
Need to replace brake pads, brake hoses, and clutch slave hose. Looks like PO replaced blue hose with a thick rubber black hose. Looks to be in good nick. Need to put some seat covers on
Need to put center console back in, fix non working tail lights and blinkers, rewire stereo, install speakers. Find some good tires, fix AC
Then register the car in my name, apply for title, pay taxes and fines (for not registering when I bought it) then insurance and plates.
All by June 1, just to be able to drive her to SITM

Congrats!! on getting it running!!, You can do it by June Ron!!- SITM is calling you! It doesn't have to be totally finished, just good mechanically to drive safely up and back. You can take your time with interior and cosmetic's!

10-4 on that Lou.
i am in Raleigh this week, but ordered the brake lines, clutch line, diff fluid, and belts. Still need to order pads. Rotors look good. I know the brakes worked when I had it on the road about a year and a half ago for it’s first (and last) road test. It appears the temp gauge and oil pressure gauges are now working. The oil pressure gauge started working after I cleaned the oil and caked on grease off the terminals. The tach is also now working. Headlights work, tail lights do not, blinkers do not, ac does not.
man, can’t wait to get back home.

You really honestly have got this, Ron! Maybe we should do a Vinyl Wrap party in the BW parking lot on your car. You could bring the car home a different color and tell your wife you got another one

I love it!
That at would be awesome. She would pass out ! I have been banned from further shark projects until I get the 79 I bought last year off the patio, and strip down and remove whatever is left of the 84 fire car from the property.
i send her 928 finds on a daily basis to her phone, just to keep her frosty!
on a serious note, I have been wondering if a gloss white wrap would be inexpensive, and long lasting.
now that this one is back online, I can get it in the air, do gearbox oil, brake lines, brakes, and a few other underneath items addressed, then drive her out and get the 79 on the lift, put it in the air, and store / work the white underneath....then all the girls will be indoors, leaving the patio open for another! (Who needs patio furniture anyway?
