Got a little more done, cleaned up wiring in the console area, traced and labeled everything, removed the old amp wiring, ran all the speaker wire. Think I’m going to set the gps antennae on the dash, in the defroster vent, behind the pod. Ran the gps cable, wired in the backup camera.

my father in law helped me finish up the rear seat delete template. He took it to his shop to make it out of 3/8 plywood.

Installed my new LED headlights. I freakin’ love these things!

my headlight hardware and housings under the buckets are rusted all to crap, the tension springs are broken, which means the adjusters won’t work. Gotta find one replacement headlight “gut” somewhere, I already have one in the parts car I can scarf.

That's one reason wood is a good material for this sort of thing.

I never go for a 'perfect fit' on the first cut.

I cut it a bit oversize, then trim to fit.
