Default Wrapped Up

Could have used a bit more heat shrink. Larger wire might seem like a good idea but it causes problems for original clamps and hot post wire service loop. Also wrapped permeable covering while creating usable service slack on hot post wire.

Default Back to Square One

New belt is on and noise still exists.
About two or three minutes after cold start, something happens that makes idle start to hunt slightly and that’s when noise becomes noticeable.
Couldn’t find anything of concern with rotating components so I think I’ll run it and see what happens.
PK32Vr was well worth the $$$ to not have to pull the cam covers.
Both cams settled in near zero, maybe slightly advanced, less than one degree.

Default Back to our regularly scheduled programming:

Sorry 'bout that side trip. Scat Pack had the slightest oil leak that didn't show on the ground or dip stick but sometimes blew smell into the cabin through the HVAC. Much easier job than on the 928.

Ready for paint:

Turned out great!

Having a buddy with a sign business make numbers.
Should I go with small or large numbers?

What I'd like is to enlarge the logo to the width of these numbers.

MrMerlin and others recommend Weldwood for the liner but the can says not for foam. Is Weldwood safe for liner from Nicole?

Edit: Oops, guess the hood saga was a different thread so here's >>> The Rest of the Story <<<.

Default My Inner Monkey

Much cleaner than contact cement but a total experiment.
Hope it holds!

Default Barf Pail

Almost forgot to check the washer system before the hood went back on. The intensive system worked good but the normal one didn't. Pump ran but no flow. Some nasty stuff came out of the tank and of course the metal inserts were just rust. Most of the rusted inserts came out by lightly squeezing the hose connections. A 1" hole saw and metal bottle brush worked well to get the rest of the rust out. Got it all cleaned out and pump works good, I think it will all be fine.

Default Shazam!

Instantaneous transformation of appearance:

Lseat.com which seems to be a decent product but the installer didn't do a very good job.
I guess you get what you pay for but I couldn't afford to send them to Brian.

Default Rubber Baby Buggy Bumper!

Found this bumper in a bag I had labeled ECU AREA.
Anyone know where it goes, or if it even belongs on this car?
