I think it was brought up once before. It's just like mine except for black int and I have tan. Appears to be a bone stock, turn key car with lots of records. Hard to go wrong at that price.

Burning Brakes
Looks nice (I don't recall the previous thread), although the photos don't show areas like the driver's seat wear areas. The engine looks like it needs a top-end refresh. As it's traditional, the hot post cover and cap appear to be missing.
The price could be anywhere from reasonable to over-priced, depending upon how much deferred maintenance is needed. Having lots of history is good, but it really depends upon who did what, and when. At that age / mileage, it could well have needed torque tube bearings, motor and transaxle mounts, fuel hoses etc, plus the usual TB/WP, regular coolant etc.

Rob, were you happy with the car? It seemed like a good buy to me but you can tell very little from ads.

It got here just before I went on vacation for a week.
I finally got to drive it and check it out this past Saturday.
Great car, no issues, everything works. All the records check out.
Needs interior rear quarter panels, and the carpet has that typical 928 stink to it but I got that covered.

"the carpet has that typical 928 stink"
What IS that typical stink RB? Old foam? Old leather? Old Spice on Old men? Napalm (91 octane) in the morning?
Whatever it is, how best do you get rid of it??

I expect its the Sliverknit and/or the foam pads under the carpet.
New carpet and new pads will get rid of it but I expect a good cleaning will work for a while.

We had the glue tested but I can't post what it is on these here forums. Remind me on Friday/Saturday while we've had some wine.
