This car was basically totaled and "rebuilt" with many parts from donor cars often older cars....the title SHOULD have been branded as salvage or rebuilt but since it was an on track crash it was not claimed on insurance, it still has a "clean" title.
Mason who "saved it" was not exactly known for quality parts or business practices. His ownership alone would greatly reduce the value of ANY 928 in my opinion. The fact that the front frame was chopped off and used parts welded on should be the kiss of death to any collector value. A bit like learning that your new super model girlfriend has STDs.....but currently in remission Still she looks GREAT !

This is the second posting on eBay. It was up last week with a BIN price of $17,900 and ended without any offers.

I do like those rims though... they need Porsche center caps and then they'd be perfect.

Thank you rennlist i just almost pulled the trigger on this car pending a ppi (which would have been a waste of $) Talked to seller for 30 mins no mention at all about any accidents, as we were talking i Googled his number and a dealer or flipper website came up miamipowercars.com/ and he denied that he is a dealer at all, so i said ok whatever..told me story that he got it in a real estate deal that he is a broker.. i knew something was off...Those who listed the vin here really saved my butt! a quick google search of vin shows all this

Now when i confronted him about it he denied knowing anything and started telling me that to buy it i need to show proof of funds and that i'm wasting time lol..so shady!

I'm always leary about buying cars from 2 places, Miami & New York
