Thanks! Interesting it doesn’t have anything about the seats. Driver and passenger have electric multi position

Thank you, Rob,

This car presents as an 85 ROW (S2, twin dizzy) so something is amiss here.
The VIN is being read / interpreted from a paper and somewhat weathered grey market import tag. It is possible the 10th position is an R and not H as initially written.
Is WP0ZZZ92ZRS340111 a valid VIN?

So the Vin you typed first was WP0ZZZ92ZHS340111.

That's incorrect because the 12th digit has to be an 8, not a 3. And then the 10th digit H means 1987. If you're reading off the tag and it's actually a 1985, then the 10th digit should be an F (and not an R, which would signify 1994)

So if the correct VIN is WP0ZZZ92ZFS840111, then the options for that car are:

WP0ZZZ92ZFS840111

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=WP0ZZZ92ZFS840111

1985 Euro S
C00 - German market
M28.21 - engine serial # range 82F 00001 >05000
G28.10 - transmission serial # range 11F 00001>05000

M220 - Limited Slip diff
M261 - Outside mirror - plain-Passenger's side, electrically adjustable and heatable
I395 - Forged wheels, silver colored anodized, 7JX16, tire 225/50 VR 16
I454 - Automatic speed control
M533 - Alarm
M650 - Sunroof

Pretty nice spec!

Thank you for sorting this out Rob, I should have posted the VIN photo initially for expert deciphering.

Is it possible the 10th digit is an E?

Is there still a metal tag on the cowl by the hood latch?

If that's an 'E' then it's an '84, in which case it's this one:

A28.02 - transmission serial # range 16 E 05001>11000

M249 - Automatic transmission
M261 - Outside mirror - plain-Passenger's side, electrically adjustable and heatable
I327 - Radio Köln SQR22
I395 - Forged wheels, silver colored anodized, 7JX16, tire 225/50 VR 16

I417 - Rear package box
M438 - 6-way Comfort seat right, electrically adjustable, 78-84
I468 - Side glasses green and windshield green - upper part dark colored)
M489 - Switches and insignias in german language- West Germany, Belgium Luxembourg, Italy, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, France

The car has an automatic transmission, so I think it is safe to assume MY 84.

Not sure what model Porsche that VIN is from (2016 Macan?) but it's not a 928 VIN so I'm afraid we don't have any options data on it.
