This is a nice spec, 5 speed, no rubstrips, no sunroof, competition package (will be interested to hear if it has the early sports seats). Is it Grand Prix White?
Is it a nice spec? lol, I'm completely new to Porsche. My boss has a decent car collection and he bought this 928 years ago after it sat in a yard in town for years. And now it's been sitting in his garage for 2 years. We're pretty close and he's offered it to me for $500 since he knows I'm looking for a project. The title matches the odometer at 34,000 miles. It runs and drives, but definitley needs work. It is Grand Prix white, and has "Porsche" decal in black on each door and the wheels are white (not sure if either of those are factory). Unfortunatley the years outisde has been pretty hard on the exterior so I plan to repaint it. It is the 5 speed manual, seems to shift okay. There are a few electrical gremlins, which I expected. I'm not sure what the early sport seats would look like? I know it has possibly the ugliest interior I've ever seen, the seats are a blue/purple plaid pattern.

Post a pic of the interior- It could be a horrendous aftermarket interior, or it could be a factory plaid (which was really rare in US market models), or it could be blue/black Pascha, which _was_ ugly for 40 years but now is cool as hell.

thanks Rob, i have actually now bought it, i contacted local OPC for the interior colour and this was their reply:
Interior colour is listed as 4KV = Marine Blue
+ 1 Exclusive order - 04251 LEINEN
Which I understand is special colour leather, which could be the white piping on the seats

04251 in this case is the deviated colour piping, in LEINEN (linen) in the case of your car.
The car phone is a nice touch
