Wow, what a great thing you guys are doing. I'm not new to Rennlist, but new to 928's. Just picked this one up and about to start giving it the love it needs (1984 S). Thanks! WP0JB0920ES862939

German market ‘89 GT with full leather everything including instrument pod housing. Special steering wheel too. No X codes on the option code sticker, but two separate five digit Exclusive Program numbers. Curious to know if the leather options show up in your decoding.
01261 and 03911
Thanks Rob!

It will not appear, but any Porsche dealer can tell you what the two five digits Exclusive codes mean.
No specific mention in the PET database of anything beyond the basics. No idea what those 5-digit codes are, unfortunately but I've added them to my unknowns list.

Hmm, thanks Rob. I’m very seriously considering buying it and it’s a stunning heavily optioned car, especially for an 89 GT, but I would really like some sort of documentation from Porsche about that full leather interior plus a special steering wheel.

Can-you, please, try to get a picture of the boot sticker, the engine and gearbox number?
I could then try to get information from my usual source. Any 1989 GT is an interesting and rare 928.
Do you have a picture if the steering wheel? I know at least one 1990 which was delivered with this kind of steering wheel:
