The Estate versions of the car is pretty rare. I believe there is one on the road in the UK and of course Ferry's personal estate car in the Porsche factory museum.

I would not call the "estate" 928's (all 2 of them) Special Edition cars...I would call them ONE OFF'S, and that holds because they are different from each other but have the same idea and feel...

Is there an option code that identifies the Weissach or Jubilee cars?

edit: Weissach cars have option code 462. There are 202 of them of which 73 are manual. Confusingly, option code 462 was also used for "Sekuriflex windscreen" in later years

I have owned a weissach for 20 years and followed them for 20 years and the factory was going to built only b205 of them but I have only seen one as high as 217 Roger has two one is documented as 210. So their were only 217 that I know of but could be more.

There are only 202 vehicles in the MY'82 data available with the 462 option code purportedly for Weissach edition.

Its possible not all of them had the option code, or that the plaque numbering series isn't contiguous.

Their VIN serial numbers span between 1495 and 1955. Would be interesting to know what Roger's #210's VIN serial number is.

Last 5 in reverse order were:

1955 - manual
1936 - auto
1808 - auto
1805 - auto
1801 - auto

I have seen Weissach #217. Should have only been 205. #217 was a fully documented Weissach.
No option code for the Weissach according to Porsche - however I have been wrong before.
I have #210 as well as #172.
Have a Jubilee as well.

Nice, didn't spot the 406 option previously. 141 of them, 83 were manual.

Never heard of that, and no production numbers stated.

I've heard of that but this is the first time I've ever seen an image, real or otherwise. And I spent a few hours looking...
